CIC Innovation Awards: “Disruptive Innovation” Category

Following last week’s “Favorite” award at TDH2026, the momentum continues at Ventio! 🙏

We are thrilled to have won the Disruptive Innovation Award at the CIC Start Innovation Awards! 🎉 Thank you to the jury for their support!

We accept this honor with great humility—as an encouragement to keep moving forward, innovating, and pushing ourselves to new heights, in order to transform medical imaging and help patients with neurological disorders.

This award recognizes the work of a dedicated team and its commitment to industrial and societal goals, and honors an innovation that emerged from the France2030 Région Sud investment program for the future—medical imaging.

👋 A big thank you also to the Brandon Group for their guidance—their support has been invaluable in helping us structure, protect, and promote our innovations.

This edition also highlights a key common thread among the winners: innovations that advance the treatment of neurological diseases.

Three complementary approaches were highlighted in relation to this major challenge:
– @Defuse for the early detection of seizures in people with autism spectrum disorders. Congratulations to Asma and Kaïs—what energy!
– VB-Tech Virtual Brain Technologies, with its virtual brain technology and the hope of reducing the risk of surgical failure in epilepsy patients.
– VENTIO in the field of medical imaging to improve diagnosis and monitoring using brain iron

Thank you to the CIC teams for organizing the event, to the speakers who led such inspiring workshops over the two days, and to the leaders and decision-makers who took the time to engage with us. We are building for the future, drawing on the insights you’ve shared!

The next chapter is now being written 🚀 🚀

Congratulations also to all the semifinalists and finalists for the quality of their projects and the richness of their interactions. In addition to the focus on health, your solutions address major societal challenges in the areas of energy, access to clean water, food, and the agriculture of the future.
Well done to the 2026 CIC Start Innovation Awards class—we need you!
